Strategies and ICT Tools for Power Conversion Technologies & Applications

Who should attend

The programme is open to the Faculty and Ph.D scholars of Electrical Engineering and allied disciplines. Industry personnel working in the concerned/allied discipline can also attend.

Course Content

• To provide practical hands on exposure
using simulation tools & experimental
based research in Power Electronics
for Electrical Vehicles, LED Lighting Systems,
Impedance Source Converters, Bidirectional Converters,
High Gain converters & Inverters
in distributed energy systems etc.
• To provide hands on exposure to real time
digital control techniques
• To conduct laboratory classes on simulation
of inverters, high gain converters,
PV fed converters, resonant converters
and its wide applications
• To enhance the designing capabilities of
the participants in the theme area
of the programme
• To empower the participants with usage of
MATLAB/PSPICE/PSIM tools for theme

Registration Fee

Faculty and Research Scholars	Rs. 2500/-
Faculty of SC/ST Category	Rs. 1875/- (SC/ ST participants should submit their caste certificate to claim the concession along with application form)
Industry Participants	Rs. 7500/-

SC/ST concession is only for Faculty. Research Scholars are not eligible for SC/ST concession.

How to Apply

A filled-in form of application in the prescribed format duly signed and sponsored by appropriate authorities (along with demand draft) should reach the coordinator on or before the last date by post/courier. Participants are requested to write their name and contact number backside of demand draft. It is also mandatory to send scanned application form and demand draft through e-mail to blnraju@nitw.ac.in and rnitchinthamalla@nitw.ac.in as selection will be intimated only through e-mail.

Accommodation

All the selected participants will be provided FREE boarding & lodging in the institute guest house. No TA will be paid for the participants.
