Procedure for filing of application

A person, who desires to obtain any information under RTI Act 2005 can be submit an application to the Public Information Officer (PIO), National Institute of Technology Warangal, Telangana – 506 004.

Format of application

The applicant should download the application form from the website and clearly mention all particulars his/her NAME & ADDRESS for correspondence, Telephone/Mobile No. and specific information which he/she wants, if practicable, with No. & Date etc.

Fee

For providing the information under sub-section (1) of section 6 shall be accompanied by an application fee of Rs. 10/- by way of cash against proper receipt or by DD/BC/PO in favour of the Director, N.I.T., Warangal.

For providing the information under sub-section (1) of Section 7, the fee shall be chargeable rates :

i) Rupees two for each page (in A4 or A3 size paper) created or copied;

ii) Actual charge or cost price of a copy in larger size paper;

iii) Actual cost or price for samples or models; and

iv) For inspection of records, no fee for the first hour, and a fee of rupees five for each sub-section.
