NIT Warangal has joined UBA in 2018 as a participating Institute. It become the Regional Co-ordinating Institute of east Telangana districts in 2019. NIT Warangal it is working on renewable energy, water management, waste management, and agriculture. Institute has a Participating Institute (PI) we had adopated the cluster of five villages in Warangal rural district and under UBA, National Coordinating Institute (NCI) i.e IIT Delhi has allocated the 10 districts to Regional Coordinating Institution NIT Warangal.
